Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  2. Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including writing captions, designing graphics, and selecting multimedia assets.
  3. Schedule and publish social media posts using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
  4. Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly to inquiries and comments in a professional and engaging manner.
  5. Analyze social media performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversion) and prepare reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to inform content strategy and optimization efforts.
  7. Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive user engagement and achieve marketing objectives.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, design) to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing strategies and brand messaging.

Requirements:

  1. Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  2. Passion for social media and familiarity with major social media platforms and their features.
  3. Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging and compelling social media content.
  4. Basic design skills and proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.
  5. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics and insights to inform decision-making.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  7. Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for social media content and campaigns.
  8. Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Previous experience with social media management, digital marketing, or related internships is preferred but not required.
