Video Editor/Videographer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor and Videographer with a strong background in video editing software to create engaging and high-quality video content. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and a passion for storytelling through video. This role will involve both shooting and editing video content for various digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shoot and edit high-quality video content for promotional materials, social media, websites, and other digital platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts and storyboards.
• Ensure all video content aligns with Taxisio’s brand guidelines and client requirements.
• Manage all aspects of video production, including lighting, sound, camera operation, and post-production editing.
• Utilize video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar to create polished and professional videos.
• Edit raw footage into final video products, including adding effects, graphics, music, and sound.
• Maintain and organize video assets and manage media storage.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video production and editing.
• Work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure all equipment is in proper working order.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor and Videographer with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in video editing software.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and other relevant video editing tools.
• Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and camera operation.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
